This is a dire warning to all American citizens. The United States Senate has just approved the frightening ‘Defense Authorization Act’ which allows the military to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely for something as simple as a ‘tweet’ or a blog post which would decry corruption in government.

The Associated Press: “The legislation also would deny suspected terrorists, even U.S. citizens seized within the nation’s borders, the right to trial and subject them to indefinite detention”

The bill- which deceptively labels the ‘homefront’ as part of the ‘battlefield’- shreds the constitution outright and denies U.S. citizens their most basic of liberties afforded to them in the Constitution.

Christopher Anders of the American Civil Liberties Union had this to say concerning the passing of the Defense bill, “Since the bill puts military detention authority on steroids and makes it permanent, American citizens and others are at greater risk of being locked away by the military without charge or trial if this bill becomes law.”

The bill, which will cost tax-payers an estimated $662 billion, was passed by an overwhelming majority of U.S. senators from both sides of the aisle. The senators who passed this bill- so far as folks such as myself are concerned- are guilty of treason and ought to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

With thousands of troops returning from the sands of Iraq before the end of this year, military men and women will now find themselves policing U.S. citizens- in other words, their brothers, cousins, sisters, and grandmothers. How any U.S. soldier could go along with such a plot is devastatingly confusing no doubt.

What is more worrisome is the level of evil inherent in the United States senate which would allow for such a tyrannical bill to even be passed in the first place. I applaud the very few of our elected representatives who opposed this monstrous bill of apocalyptic proportions.

Readers of this website are keen to the fact that civilization is beginning to unravel at the seams. The world is running out of resources fast. Perhaps the best way- according to government officials- to contain the level of anarchy that will undoubtedly ensue when its announced that we’re completely broke and out of resources such as oil will be to put troops on the streets and to round up the ‘trouble makers’.

The passing of the Defense Authorization Act creates a ‘Red Dawn’ scenario where patriotic citizens from across the nation will be forced to band together and to fight off the military threat which now presents a tremendous evil that must be destroyed at all costs.

With financial institutions dissolving across the board, with thousands of anti-government protesters out on the streets, and with the gross rate at which natural resources are being depleted, martial law has finally come to America.

The mainstream press, reluctant to report on this devilish plot to destroy our natural rights as free citizens, will remain just as silent when the first government trucks come rolling down the streets to collect those deemed ‘enemies of the state’. Hitler would be proud.
