Why Being Anti-Human is the Most Humane Approach
Take a good look at our world today. What we have on our hands is a manifestation of the work produced by a viral species known as humanity. Of course not every member of the species is a sour apple- there are certainly those who are more sour than others. However, what we have produced collectively amounts to nothing but pollution, deforestation, the poisoning of our air and water supply, war, filth, and poverty.
The way we treat our fellow man is plain disgusting to say the least. The fact that some people fill their bellies to the point of bursting whilst others are made to wallow in their own disease is just outright evil. And we’re so full of s**t not to realize that by refusing to help those who are in need, we are in turn destroying ourselves. All of life is one gigantic chain. If one link is broken, the entire chain is broken.
When I gaze out the window, I see a world full of potential. I see love, light, and harmony. However I’m quickly brought back into this self-created nightmare when I begin to realize that nobody really cares about anything which doesn’t concern them in an immediate, superficial manner. This lack of foresight is what will inevitably drive our species to extinction- that is of course, if we don’t let folks with the proper vision help plot the course for a future which involves our kind.
My girlfriend and I were riding our bikes the other day. She was wearing a pair of shorts and I must admit, she looked (as she always does) beautiful beyond words. We stopped at a light and some college kid shouts out the window, “Hey sexy!” then revs his engine and speeds away. It’s a good thing certain laws are still in effect and that I wasn’t packing any heat. Believe me when I say that my adrenal fluids were pumping like never before and given the opportunity, I probably would’ve laid waste to this bastard. Fortunately for him, I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in prison getting boned up the stink-hole every goddamned day!
Circumstances such as above really piss me off. The mere fact that these young kids have nothing better to do- like trying to be the generation that won’t repeat the mistakes of the past- is testament to the cyclical, self-destructive nature which drives our species. I suppose given what could’ve been my potential reaction to the situation, I myself fell victim to the impulses which, on a planetary level, produce nothing but ill results.
I have decided in these turbulent days of late to consider myself anti-human. If humans are the cause for the extinction of other humans, then yes, I stand in confident opposition to this species of life. I value individuals however- forward thinkers, people who care for one another, intelligent folk and the like- but when it comes to the species as a whole, I find nothing but contempt. I’m sorry- but I’ve lost all faith in the collective. It appears now that any great and significant changes must and will be made by the individual.
