Beat the Bankers: Ride a Bike to Save on High Gas Prices
Grant J. Kidney— Gas is projected to hit an all time high of approximately $5.00 per gallon this summer as the banking elite continue to rob and rape the American people.
The gullible- and I mean totally gullible- will continue to fuel their vehicles amidst the high gas prices that the summer of 2012 will undoubtedly bring. However, there is a low cost alternative to getting around town that probably makes the bankers and the oil executives shutter in fear- bike riding.
Riding a bike is not only healthy for the mind, body, and soul- it’ll also save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in transportation costs all the whilst minimizing how many pollutants you pump in to the atmosphere.
Make no mistake about it- the elite of this planet will stage world war III over the issue of Iran. War is big business. One byproduct of expensive wars abroad is high gasoline prices.
Riding a bicycle allots a certain amount of economic freedom that driving a car simply does not. When riding a bike, one isn’t forced in to buying expensive insurance nor does one have to make costly repairs so long as the bike is taken care of.
An intelligent, non-profit driven civilization would no doubt advocate bike riding as an alternative to high gasoline prices. However, because we’re trapped beneath a system which cares only for the amassing of insane amounts of wealth, one will never hear from their congressman, senator, or President on the issue of bike riding to defeat greedy oil interests.
I own a pretty sturdy Schwinn bicycle that gets me all around town usually within a half an hour to forty-five minutes time. I am unabashed each time I pass by motor-vehicles knowing full well that at the end of the day, I get to keep all of my money rather than have it sucked from me by an uncaring corporate oligarchy.
Total cost of transportation this summer: $0 and proud of it.
