Cain to ‘Occupy’ Protesters: ‘Blame Yourself’ For Being Poor, Jobless
Republican Presidential candidate and former pizza man, Herman Cain, has recently come out against the ‘occupy’ movement stating ever so insensitively that its somehow the fault of the poor to be where they are and that they should lay off Wall Street, banks, and greedy financial institutions.
“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself!”, thus saith Herman Cain. “It is not a person’s fault because they succeeded, it is a person’s fault if they failed. And so this is why I don’t understand these demonstrations and what is it that they’re looking for.”
What Cain fails to realize is that jobless folk aren’t jobless by choice. Many people who’ve worked for various companies almost all of their lives can’t help it if one day their boss hands them a pink slip and tells them to ‘take a hike’.
Herman Cain recently shot up in the Republican race for President in 2012. Perhaps statements such as the aforementioned are the exact formula one needs to make it to the top of the GOP field- reason enough that Ron Paul might not actually make his party’s nomination.
I think the best course of action for the Occupy protesters would be to ‘occupy’ Herman Cain’s residence. Find out where this man lives. Surround his home (or homes) in tents and let this bastard know how strong the “poor people” actually are!
