California Students Pepper Sprayed for Wanting Free Education
Grant J. Kidney— In Santa Monica, California, hordes of angry students protested rising tuition costs and demanded that their education be paid for in full. Police responded by blasting them with intense bursts of pepper-spray.
Convening for a discussion on how best to screw students out of their money, a board of trustees meeting was called in to effect so as to lay some ground work for a massive hike in various courses offered by Californian schools.
Only a hundred students were allowed to attend the meeting. The rest were forced to wait outside as the decision was made to rip even the gold fillings from their teeth.
Many college courses are slated to rise to approximately $600 each- or about $200 per unit. As such, any one with half a brain who wanted to better his or her life in the state of California would be utterly enraged.
As police were backed in to a corner, the only option- according to the officers- was to use near deadly pepper spray. The police went wild as though they were a pack of demons preying on innocent little lambs. Many students were near blinded by the incident.
The average debt that a student carries upon his shoulder is somewhere near the $30,000 marker. With rising costs of food, fuel, and living, and with a vanishing of high paying career opportunities, the student debt crisis has reached an unprecedented level.
Students in California as well as in other places around the world are keen to the plan on part of the mega corporations to suck them dry of their sustenance by charging for something as fundamental as education.
In some European countries, education is provided free of charge. In these nations, the intelligence as well as the productivity of the population is valued. After all, who would want to live in a nation full of dunderheads and morons, 37% of which cannot locate their own country on a map?
