College is a Scam
I’d like to share a little tale of a man who worked hard by the sweat of his brow- making a VERY GOOD living- all without college. That man was my father (now retired).
My father painted. He painted everything. Houses, storefronts, etc. Unlike the faggy, manicured college boys, he wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty- he did everything he could to make that mean-green (and make the money he did).
I was always brought up to believe that if one is to succeed in life, he’d do it by his own efforts- he’d skip college and start a business. Now I’m not a proponent of the so called “American dream” (because as George Carlin once noted, you have to be asleep in order to believe it), but if something is to resonate as closely to the American ideal as is possible, I think it would be the aforementioned philosophy preached to me by the men in my family- that hard work pays off- that college is a complete waste of one’s time.
College is a scam- let’s face it. In fact, most of the folks I know who went to college are now waiting in the unemployment line because the system they put so much stock into f**ked their pathetic, narrow-minded assholes and left them high and dry. Capitalism kills. Therefore, and logically speaking, a college degree in a Capitalist society is worth about the same amount as a five dollar off coupon to a McDonalds restaurant.
America’s population has reached well over three hundred million (not to mention forty or fifty some illegal Hispanic immigrants). Suppose at least two hundred million Americans work. And suppose at least half of those folks went to college. I implore you- is it reasonable to assume that there are enough jobs for these college grads to slip into? NO!
College used to be a privilege reserved for well-to-do families (in other words, families who didn’t give a s**t about their fellow man). Back in the day, if you were a guy, you’d leave high school and go to work in the steel mills (or in some kind of factory). Women stayed home where many believed it was their place. Now, EVERYONE goes to college! Even poor people get their asses to school these days! And with all of our jobs shipped overseas, and with the only “careers” left being useless, paper-pushing operations, what makes these naive, liberal s**t-disturbers believe for one moment that there are enough “rewarding opportunities” left in this country to make for one’s self a decent living?!
It makes more sense to me to take the same amount of money normally reserved for one’s college “education” and to use it toward the establishment of some kind of business venture. If one spends ten thousand per year on a s**tty, community college- and puts in the standard four years- they’re looking at at least a forty thousand dollar debt-monkey on their back. And don’t even get me started about the ridiculous cost of state universities and all of the so called “good schools” out there! Fifty thousand bucks per year?! Are you s**ttin’ me?!
Let’s get real. The primary reason young people go to college is to engage in drunken orgies. Dorm life is exciting to the swine who find hours of endless entertainment in beating off, beating someone else off, or beating off into a blow-up doll while wearing a beer helmet and little else. It’s the dirty little college secret no one wants to mention- tens of thousands of dollars wasted on immature, anti-intellectual behavior.
As stated time and again, my knowledge wasn’t transmitted to me by some Communist university professor with a pony-tail and bad breath. I learned everything I know from books and documentaries. Not to mention the fact that I didn’t have to spend a red cent in order to gain this knowledge of mine!
Just stop with the “you need to go to school” line. It ain’t working- it never has and it never will. Level-headed folks such as myself see the folly in “going to school”. It’s a waste of both time and money. And seeing as how we sleep a third of our lives away- and the other two thirds are spent slaving so that we can fund an out-of-control system that doesn’t have our best interests at heart- I’d much rather be living as if today I were going to die!
College is stupid. The end.
