Exploding the Money Myth: You Were Meant to be Poor!
When I was a young kid in school, I remember being told by many a teacher that if I had worked hard enough, I could someday become a millionaire, as this country, the United States, is the “greatest nation on the Earth”. What rubbish this remark truly was as I had learned much later on in adulthood.
How Does Money Work?
This is how money works. There’s only supposed to be so much of it in supply- this is what guarantees it’s value. If money were truly infinite in supply, it would lose all value- and in fact, with the Federal Reserve printing trillions of dollars and flooding the market with this “funny-money”, the devaluing of the U.S. currency is precisely what we are witnessing today.
The Stunning Money Conundrum
Imagine if you will every American citizen- all three hundred million or so of them- with at least one million dollars in the bank. Imagine now if you will owning a rare, special edition baseball card. Only a handful or so of these cards exist- and you just so happen to be lucky enough to have gotten your hands on one of them. The difference between these two scenarios is that your card has more worth than the money sitting in everyone’s bank accounts. Surely if they began printing millions of duplicates of your baseball card, then you’d find yourself in a similar situation as the aforementioned millionaire Americans. The less of something there is, the more value it’s going to have!
One percent of the world’s population owns half of all the world’s wealth- and this is precisely by design representing a natural evolution of any monetary based system. Wealth was meant to be concentrated into the hands of the few as such a game plan resonates evenly with the insurmountable greed inherent in most members of the species. Therefore, you and I were made to be poor- and there’s no getting around this most glaringly obvious of truths.
When the system proclaims that all have the right to live in excess and in extreme abundance, they are merely rubbing the facts in our face that such a scenario is indeed impossible as every man with a million bucks would even the entire system out forcing all into extreme poverty.
The very existence of money is a con. It’s time to explode the money myth!
