Germans desperately fear hyper inflation and economic collapse
The economic hell-storm gripping most of Europe today is quite reminiscent of the troubles which befell the continent in the days prior to the second world war.
Particularly, grave economic conditions in Germany paved the route for radicals like Adolf Hitler to storm to power. Hitler was very successful at capitalizing upon the destitution that American and British forces had imparted upon the post great war nation.
Similar conditions in Europe today have given new life into various extremist movements. It is of utmost importance for Europeans to resist fascism at all costs and to work toward a better alternative to the economic paradigm that doesn’t include the genocide of whole peoples. -Grant J. Kidney
