Indefinite detention of Americans: what Romney and Obama will not debate

Grant J. Kidney — On New Year’s eve of 2011, President Barack H. Obama signed in to law the National Defense Authorization Act (or ‘NDAA’ for short), a bill which grants him the unwavering authority to kidnap, torture, and execute American citizens without first having to issue a trial. And you thought this was the ‘land of the free’.

As America slides even deeper in to economic depression, it is a sure bet that the NDAA will be enforced as a means to curtail the undoubted mayhem that will unfold the very second grocery store shelves appear empty and food stamp payments cease. However, don’t expect Mitt Romney or Barack Obama- ‘America’s finest’ (and I use the phrase loosely)- to debate the passage and legality of the NDAA at any future point or in any future debate.

Already, plans have been drafted up by the army to order American citizens into ‘internment camps’ once the first signs of total economic collapse begin to manifest. And don’t think because you keep to yourself and rarely express your opinions that you’re not on the government’s radar. As unbelievable as it may sound to the unawakened person, the U.S. army now considers tweets an ‘act of terrorism’ which may be punishable through enforcement of the NDAA.

During one of the Republican debates, candidate Mitt Romney was asked whether or not he supported Obama’s signing of the NDAA legislation. Romney, with a bit of sadistic pleasure, proudly and boldly expressed that he is with the President on this issue 100% of the way- proof enough that there truly is no difference between the political parties other than their stances on minor social issues.

The NDAA has been challenged time and again in the courts. Each time the issue is brought before a federal judge, the Obama administration pleads to retain the authority to brutalize and execute citizens on just a whim that they may be involved in some kind of terrorist activity. Mind you, this is not a history lesson- we’re not speaking concerning Adolf Hitler’s regime of the late 1930′s. We’re talking about a so called ‘American’ President worshiping at the throne of dark, satanic power.

The presidential debates will no doubt feature a lot of fancy rhetoric as well as mind-numbing statistics that were designed to put you to sleep so that the ‘big boys’ can get to work, relishing the ‘fantastic’ evil they’ve created around the world. The U.S. is still entrenched in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and in other places where they need not be. The military, in its quest for world domination, won’t stop committing the true acts of terrorism overseas. Quite the contrary, plans are already on the books to confiscate firearms and to instate martial law right here in America. Sadly, the NDAA brings us one step closer to this grim reality.

So the reason you won’t hear Millionaire Mitt or Peace Prize winning Barack ‘iBomb-ya’ speak concerning the NDAA is because they’re both one in the same candidate- and they both work for the very same bosses. Don’t believe me? Run a simple Google search for Obama’s top campaign donors and Romney’s top campaign donors. You will see the same names appear. Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Citigroup, and others.

Don’t buy in to the con that is the U.S. presidential debates. And more importantly, please don’t buy in to what either of the two phony establishment candidates read from the teleprompters.
