Is it a “Hate Crime” When Gay People Bash Straight People?
I’m just wondering- is it okay for a gay person to bash a straight person either verbally or physically? Of course not physically- because that’s still a case of assault. However, suppose a virulent, militant, anti-heterosexual gay guy punched a straight guy right through a wall and into his neighbors bathroom- dust, cement, and debris everywhere. When prosecuted for this heinous crime, would the gay guy in question be slapped with additional “hate crime” charges for this apparent rage against the “heterosexual world empire”?
Do we live in a culture of double-standards or what? It’s true- if a gay guy verbally harassed a straight person for being straight, the gay guy would be let off the hook since he was only exercising his first amendment right. However, flip the tables around and the straight person would be in jail. Nevermind his supposed “guaranteed” right to speak as he pleases- if a member of the “protected minority” (the new nobility in other words) is spoken ill of in any regard, whoever did the talkin’ will certainly be doin’ the walkin’- into a fresh jail cell that is.
I don’t believe in “special rights” for anyone. I believe in equal rights for all people everywhere. If a man likes giving or taking it up the ass, why does he need to be treated like a sissy and afforded protection from all those “mean” heterosexuals out there? If I were a gay dude, I wouldn’t want to be held up as some weak, pathetic victim. I’d like to be seen as the strong, fudge-packing macho man that I truly am. Hell, if some straight guy came at me with swinging fists, I’d knock the mother-f**ker out cold!
Gay people need to let the government know that they’re strong enough and well equipped enough to handle something like name-calling on their own. In kindergarten it’s customary to run and tell the teacher if someone hurts your feelings. In the real world, you grow a backbone and stand up to your oppressors face to face.
