London Guardian laughably links climate change skeptics with ’9/11 truthers’
Grant J. Kidney — In a recent article put forth by the London Guardian, it was claimed that those who deny what is being called the ‘reality’ of global warming are the same kind of folks who doubt both the official story of 9/11 as well as the moon landings. Read the article here.
The Guardian totes ‘evidence’ gathered from an Australian based survey which inveigled a particular response from blog readers over questions concerning climate change.
Stephen Lewandowsky of the University of Western Australia and his colleagues concluded that a majority of climate change skeptics also believe in ‘free market economics’ and subscribe to various ‘conspiracy theories’ such as 9/11 being an inside job. In other words, the ‘enemy’ are the folks who don’t drink the establishment’s kool-aid without first inspecting it for big chunks of feces.
The London Guardian goes on to suggest that the Australian based survey’s findings were ‘remarkable’ in that they,
…provide yet more evidence that a rejection of climate science has more to with ideological views than scientific literacy.
Actually, its the other way around. It was Mr. Lewandowsky’s so called ‘findings’ that proved to be an ‘ideologically biased’ stunt and not a scientifically provable survey. After all, the Guardian admits that the survey was “not representative of the wider population.”
The Guardian blabs on and on about the ‘settled science’ behind climate change not once mentioning the ship-wrecking revelations uncovered in the ‘climate gate’ scandal wherein scores of e-mail messages between top scientists proved that data pertaining to the Earth’s actual temperature was being deliberately fudged for political reasons.
The truth is that there has been some wacky weather in recent times, particularly in America’s midwest where an intense drought has been raging on almost all summer long. It is also true that this past July was the hottest month on record… ever. But as a climate change skeptic, I intend to remain skeptical over whether or not humans are to blame for the strange weather patterns experienced today.
To clarify, it is a myth that folks who ‘deny’ global warming as hard science are somehow against protecting the environment. Activists such as myself are on record pushing to bring companies like Monsanto to justice for their deeds of ‘bio-terrorism’ against the planet. It is the folks working for the establishment who wreck the environment and then claim that only carbon taxes will save the Earth from utter catastrophe.
The Guardian, an establishment news group with a few occasional nuggets of truth, ought to be ashamed for their politically biased reporting- especially on this particular issue. At a time when even the fluoridated general public is questioning the science behind climate change, how can any serious person take what the Guardian says as factual?
