‘Nightmare Scenario’: Debt Ceiling Needs Raised Again, if Not, Super Chaos to Unfold
Grant J. Kidney— Its happening all over again, the U.S. government has hit its own ‘debt ceiling’ once more.
Last year Congress voted to raise the debt ceiling by $2.4 trillion dollars. To have hit the limit once again means that the government of the United States has already spent all $2.4 trillion allocated to them through your tax dollars.
A top congressional aide has warned of a ‘nightmare scenario’ if the debt ceiling is not raised again. Sources are projecting that harsh economic woes might befall the nation even before this year’s Presidential election.
The Huff Post weighs in with an estimation stating, “hitting the debt limit before the election could result in political chaos.” But the word ‘chaos’ only mildly describes what is just over the horizon in terms of America’s crashing economic system.
Recently in the nation of Greece, a massive, $130 billion dollar bail-out was handed to the big banks who control most parts of the world by now. Because the Greek people are now forced to pay off the bankers, there is little money left in the Treasury to even keep the government a quarter-funded.
In Greece, cuts to the minimum wage and a snatching away of pensions has caused thousands to flood the streets in violent protests against the banking cartels which have robbed their country blind. Too bad for Americans however, the very same banking elite who’ve destroyed Greece are currently ransacking the United States as well.
Allowing our elected officials to raise the debt ceiling once more stands testament to the laziness of the American people. We may as well just allow the government to spend as much as it wants without a credit limit! At least then we wouldn’t have to hear all of the chatter on TV.
The fact remains that our national debt is fast approaching the $20 trillion marker. There is no virtual way to ever be able to pay off this debt. If the debt ceiling is raised once more and we come closer to $20 trillion over our heads, this nation will no doubt collapse in to a deep, deep depression that will witness mass die offs and starvation such as the world has never seen.
When the first debt ceiling was reached, I offered one of the only viable solutions to the entire mess- get rid of money. No money means no debt. Of course then our entire civilization would need to be restructured and billions re-educated in to the new life model. Fortunately groups such as the Venus Project exist which already propose a re-designed world without the burden of money.
