Obama Lie: Troops to Come Home From Iraq Before End of Year

Barack Obama today announced the end of the war in Iraq… or was it that he simply announced another name change to U.S. operations in the war-torn country?

News articles lit up the mainstream wire today proclaiming that our ‘boys’ were coming home from war. I’m certain the news brought much excitement to military families- and even non military families who’ve grown weary of America’s ever expanding imperial efforts overseas.

Here’s the thing though- our troops aren’t coming home and this whole ‘end of the war’ bulls**t was meant simply to calm citizen rage against a power-hungry oligarchical state. We must remember that Obama is up for re-election. This man would say just about anything to keep his tookus in the White House.

Side thought: According to Obamanoids, the oft quoted phrase, “power corrupts” doesn’t apply to Barack.

Just recently, Obama announced that he was shipping troops off to Africa to supposedly help the people of Uganda fight off a hoard of aboriginal rebels who are raping, kidnapping, and murdering. Of course that’s the cover-story meant solely for the eyes and the ears of the gullible public.

The true reason as to why the U.S. war machine is now expanding into the African continent is because of a little military project called AFRICOM. In order to compete with the Chinese, the U.S. government needs to dominate Africa and plunder its resources before they do.

The Daily Beast notes,

“But the end of the war does not mean the end of the U.S. presence in Iraq. Indeed, speaking after the president’s brief announcement, Deputy National Security Adviser Denis McDonough acknowledged that the United States would continue to train Iraq’s military in the new weaponry that Obama has agreed to sell the government that emerged after U.S. troops toppled the regime of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Just this year, the Pentagon approved a sale of F-16s to Iraq’s air force.”

So let me get this straight. We supposedly declare an end to the war in Iraq, say that we’re bringing home all the troops, yet we’re really not- we’re keeping thousands of them there as if nothing changed other than the semantics of how we would define our presence overseas.

Doesn’t make sense, right?

Believe me, so long as there are resources to be captured and oil to be sucked from the Earth, the United States will never pull away from conflict.
