Obama, Romney: who should the U.S. bomb next?

Grant J. Kidney — The last debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama focused primarily on issues of foreign policy. In other words, what was actually being discussed on stage was ‘who should the U.S. bomb next and why?’

According the Romney campaign, President Obama has been exceptionally ‘weak’ on Iran. You know, because pushing people into tight corners and making them ignite nuclear bombs is the best way to go, right Mitt? Nevertheless, the Obama administration has been everything but ‘polite’ to the rest of world, waging more wars, marching more soldiers to their deaths, and conquering more territories for the international banks.

On the other side of the coin, the Obama camp has been accusing team Romney of ‘warmongering’- as if Obama himself actually lives up to the peace prize he received just shortly after becoming President. I suppose all of the ‘love bombs’ Obama dropped on Libya and on Syria were but gestures of good will.

What is at play here- and what has been typified by this last debate- is a deliberate attempt to cast Republicans as mean old grandpas on power trips and democrats as some kind of peace loving hippies who want nothing more than to distribute free welfare money to all the world’s poor. Well, I hate to shatter your illusions, kiddies- but this rather laughable paradigm that our controllers would like for us all to buy into is as phony as a three dollar bill with a naked picture of Richard Simmons plastered thereupon.

And what is with all of this ‘America isn’t as strong as it was four years ago’ bulls**t? Or this ‘Obama is downsizing the military’ rubbish? Downsizing the military? Which military? The U.S. military? Would you call sending tens of thousands of more troops to the sands of Afghanistan an attempt at downsizing the military? How about the constant barrage of predator drone strikes in places such as Pakistan where whole villages are annihilated and children’s faces burned off of their skulls in the name of spreading American ‘democracy’? ‘Downsizing the military’ my ASS!

I actually feel bad for the big fat American pigs who sat watching this last debate, believing there to be some difference between a Republican view on foreign policy and that of what Obama has been pursuing since day one in the Oval Office. Both parties differ very little on foreign policy which is why both contenders seemed as though they were struggling very hard to define their views without letting on to the big deception during this debate.

I will admit that Obama does a fancy job pretending to be a man of peace- and this illusion may have softened the impact of U.S. foreign policy on the rest of the world somewhat in these past four years. But with a Romney administration in power? You had better hope and pray that God ‘raptures’ your butt before the inevitable apocalypse that Romney and his blood-thirsty Neocon controllers would bring to this world. I mean, have you seen Romney’s attitude toward Russia? Here’s a guy who thinks Russia is the United States’ biggest challenge. And then there’s all this Donald Trump inspired talk against China. Sheesh. Pissing off the Russians and the Chinese at a time when both powers are furious with the United States over its dominance of most strategic regions on this planet just sounds like a recipe for disaster- WWIII even.

With the election just about two weeks from now, American’s have had a good chance to weigh their options. But here’s the best option- stay home and don’t vote at all.  You’ll be doing yourself and the country a favor, I promise. A good strong protest to the entire election process outright is the only way to send a clear message to the controllers: we have had enough of your shenanigans! Down with your puppet Presidents!
