Obama Terrified of Catholic Church, Backs Down From Birth Control Mandate

Grant J. Kidney— The President of the United States thinks he’s so amazingly powerful that he can just override the basic and fundamental separation of Church and State by mandating that preachers pass out condoms. Not so fast.

Today Barack Obama is backing down from a ridiculously tyrannical proposal which would have forced religious institutions to advocate birth control.

After falling under intense scrutiny by the Catholic church, Barack Obama, like the little chicken that he truly is, buckled in to pressure and reversed his mandates.

Wherever one stands on the issue of contraceptives is irrelevant- what matters here is that a U.S. President believes himself to be dictator- and we the people, like Gandalf before us, simply shall not let this pass.

Barack Obama claims to have been a ‘Constitutional lawyer’. Little does the Command-in-Thief realize that it is highly illegal beneath the Constitution for the government to force religious groups to do anything.

The practice of ‘live and let live’, which is normally a ‘hippie’ or a ‘leftist’ cause, is certainly not a guiding principle for U.S. President Barack Obama.

Beneath the Barack Obama administration, a U.S. presence overseas has dramatically increased as wars with Libya, Uganda, and now Syria and Iran threaten the peace and stability of the entire world. On the war front, Obama has yet to prove himself a good, decent ‘liberal’.

Perhaps the whole issue with the contraceptives was simply a campaign strategy of Obama’s to lure in disenfranchised liberals who just can’t seem to grasp how someone could receive the Nobel Peace Prize and then immediately march off in to new wars abroad.

Nevertheless, in the contraceptive debate, the true and awesome power of the Catholic church reigned supreme over the Obama administration. Its actually rather fun to watch how quickly Obama changes his mind when an institution far more powerful and far more corrupt seeks to maintain its sovereign grip upon the world!
