Occupy Protester Sings to Barack Obama
So there’s a giant political event hosted by Barack Obama in Hawaii- his supposed place of birth. Invited to the event, a singer named Makana who was slated to perform for the world’s elite powers.
Makana takes to the stage. Suddenly he rips off his jacket to reveal a pro-Occupy Wall Street t-shirt. He begins to sing, “We’ll occupy the streets, we’ll occupy the courts, we’ll occupy the offices of you, till you do the bidding of the many, not the few.”
Praise and honor to Makana for his bravery.
Fortunately for the Hawaiian recording artist, he was allowed to perform the entirety of his song. Unfortunately however for the nearly four hundred fellow Occupy protesters observing the event from afar, security was so tight that making the slightest bit of impact was nearly impossible.
According to Yahoo! News, Barack Obama was little aware of the song because he was too absorbed with ‘meeting and greeting’ his guests. Others took notice however and appeared open-mouthed and shocked over the performance.
