Preparing for the Second American Civil War

Grant J. Kidney— With revelations of how the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is buying up almost a half a billion rounds of hollow point ammunition as a preparatory measure for an eventual civil war with the American people, the reality of a nightmarish, ‘Red Dawn’ scenario is brewing with some intensity.

But why would the government go to war with its own people? The truth of the matter is that the world economy has entered into a very dangerous, ‘free fall’ zone- and just as soon as it is announced that the dollar is no longer the leading reserve currency, riots will break on par with nothing ever before seen in history.

Groups like Occupy Wall Street are adding to their numbers day by day- evidence of the immense anti establishment fervor now sweeping the nation. With millions of Americans out of work and unable to provide end’s meat for their families, a situation where starving people begin to strike back against their leaders may soon develop.

For many years, the Pentagon has been beefing up local police departments with its ’1033′ program. In New York City, law enforcement now has access to anti-aircraft weaponry. The thin line between police and military has begun to blur.

In Egypt, military officials admitted to having drawn inspiration from American cops in so dealing with protesters. For what is essentially a foreign dictatorship to credit the United States over its handling of dissent just goes to show the sickening level of tyranny now embedded in our culture.

A New American Civil War in… 2012?

So just when is the government planning on rolling out its fortified vehicles and shooting innocents with armor piercing rounds? Some have suggested this year as the beginning of what could become a new American civil war.

Economic ‘prophet’ Gerald Celente has forecasted martial law as well as a total financial meltdown in 2012. The unfortunate news is that Celente is almost always dead on in his predictions.

The average median income for most Americans is rapidly declining. Almost fifty million Americans are now collecting food stamps. As hard as it is to accept, half of the U. S. population is now living in impoverished conditions- and it will be for this very reason that insurrectionary forces in this country begin to take a firmer stance against the corrupt leadership class.

Violence is not the Answer

So what are we freedom lovers to do when the first shots in the new American civil war are fired? Are we to run and hide behind a rock and be forgetful of a time when men had bigger balls than what it is that we have today? The answer to this question is relative to one’s own particular situation.

Suppose if you will that you and your family come under direct assault on part of governmental forces in the new civil war. Rather than having armor piercing rounds pass through your daughter’s skull, it will be required of you- if you are man enough of course- to defend your turf from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. But never, ever be the one to fire the first shot- for those who do usually wind up losing the fight later on.

Mark my words- this country will go down in flames quicker than one can say ‘Barack Obama’ just as soon as war breaks between ‘us’ and ‘them’. Because of this, a peaceful resolution to the conflict would be certainly preferable- but we must never abandon our sacred duty as protectors of our kin.

Be advised that this is an author who abhors offensive measures and who distances himself away from violence at all costs. I will only advocate defense as it is absolutely no one’s right- including the state’s- to inflict harm upon another or to take one’s life from them.

Preparing for the Battle Ahead

In case of a new civil war, one will already need to be prepared with guns, lots of ammo, stored away food and water, as well as a decent ‘exit strategy’. An exit strategy would involve safely navigating from one’s home, out of any urban environment, and in to a less densely populated area, preferably rural.

It would be advisable to not engage in the war at all. Best to stay put with the family, ready to defend yourself and your progeny from either the government or the insurrectionists. For, there may exist psychopaths on both sides of the war who would just as soon have their way with your wife, your children, grandma, and even the family dog.

Considering that there are millions of privately owned firearms in the United States, an actual new civil war would prove quite terrifying. The first civil war claimed the lives of over a half a million citizens. If war were to break between the government and the population, it is likely that many more will perish this time around considering the many new dynamics which were virtually non existent at the time of America’s first civil war.
