Riot Cops Subdue Mindless Hordes of Consumer Zombies Lusting for $220 Nike Shoes
Grant J. Kidney— Over one hundred cops in riot gear were dispatched to beat back unruly crowds waiting in line for a limited edition of Nike shoes.
Gullible patrons were waiting outside of a Florida shopping mall for hours where the shoes were being sold. One patron rushed toward the mall and like clockwork, all seemed to follow behind, reports the Associated Press.
The footwear in question was a limited edition basketball shoe designed exclusively for folks who play professional basketball. Of course none of those waiting in line for the shoe were themselves pro ball players.
Nike, like many other major corporate entities, use slave labor to produce their product line. Children work tirelessly in third world sweat shops just so that bloated Americans can have their unneeded basketball shoes.
The limited edition footwear was priced at $220- barely what the show was actually worth and barely the price to assemble such.
One patron told the local newspaper that she felt like she was going to be ‘trampled’ by a stampede of mindless consumer zombies. Only one person was arrested amidst the confusion.
Often times police are dispatched in full riot gear to take on protesters who are demanding freedom, truth, and justice. In the case of the Nike shoe incident, I personally have no complaints with body-armored police subduing those who would bite off someone’s arm over some damn product.
Americans are among the most corporate brainwashed in the world. To big business, incidents such as the aforementioned are gleaned over, standing testament to some sick level of advertising ‘success’.
