Saturday Night Live Demeans Ron Paul & Says He Can’t Win in 2012
On a recent episode of Saturday Night Live, sketch-comedy artists took the stage in a mock GOP Presidential debate.
Just as in the mainstream press, the debate featured very little mention of Ron Paul and gave the gave the comedian playing the role of Dr. Paul just about a minute or so to speak.
Pretending to be Shepherd Smith of Fox News, the fake debate moderator went down the line of Presidential hopefuls, stating that the only two candidates who really stood a chance were Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.
When the fake Shepherd Smith spoke to Ron Paul, he asked him what he would do as President if he were walking down the street and saw a house full of puppies on fire. The fake Ron Paul shouted something to the effect of, “Nothing! It’s none of my business!”
Ron Paul was recently criticized by the mainstream media over his statements concerning FEMA and why it doesn’t need to exist. The criticism came at a time when Hurricane Irene was making its way to shores. Paul explained that FEMA didn’t exist until 1979 and that local and state governments did a much better job with rebuilding efforts after a major disaster struck.
The media- including comedy programs such as SNL- are all aimed up against Ron Paul and will do everything they can to slander his good name and prevent a potential Paul Presidency which would undoubtedly lay the ground work for eventual human progress in a more peaceful direction.
