Scientist Warns: End of the Universe Coming
Grant J. Kidney— In the following clip, physicist Michio Kaku explains elements of ‘string theory’ and how such is relevant to the ultimate ending of our universe.
Kaku explains that Einstein’s law of relativity breaks down at the quantum level. This means a new theory is needed in order to understand anomalous activity such as what is observed with blackholes. String theory, according to Kaku, fills in the gaps.
According to mainstream science, eventually our universe will die in a ‘big freeze’ wherein galaxies have flung so far apart from each other that there wouldn’t be much of a night sky left in terms of stars and their visibility.
Michio Kaku proposes that in order to avert catastrophe trillions upon trillions of years from now, our descendants will be forced to leave the present universe entirely, migrating in to a new and sustainable alternate universe.
According to the present understanding of string theorists, the only way to cover the vast expanse of the cosmos- or to migrate in to a new universe- would be to punch a virtual hole in to the fabric of space and time. Doing so would theoretically produce a ‘worm hole’ in which a hypothetical star ship might someday be able to fly in to.
The nearest star system lies approximately four light years away. This means travel thereto would take at least four years if traveling at the speed of light. At present, man is incapable of lightspeed and thus travel to any portion outside of our own cosmic backyard is highly restricted.
The end of the Earth may come long before the end of the universe. War, hunger, disease, filth, and poverty are direct assaults upon the health and survival of the human species. If man doesn’t soon come terms with his own destructive ways and build a new, alternative social system to migrate in to, he will ultimately cease to be.
