Apollo 18, an upcoming film release, details how NASA secretly went to the moon several times after the supposed final 17th mission. Iron Sky, another film to be released next year, offers yet one more really bizarre take on possible secrets concerning our moon- there may be Nazis living up there!

Of course Iron Sky’s premise is just for fun whereas Apollo 18′s is for real. However, it must be strongly notated that the Nazis did have a huge interest in space exploration and even went so far as actually constructing what would be termed “UFOs”.

Iron Sky’s tagline suggests that in 1945, the Nazis made it up to the moon- and that in 2018, they’ll be coming back to wreak havoc. But is there any evidence to suggest that such a scenario is even plausible in the real world?

Adolf Hitler might not have actually committed suicide- as it’s popularly believed. Instead, the Nazi leader may have escaped after the close of the war.

To add even more fuel to the conspiratorial fire, the History Channel has produced a documentary series entitled, “Ancient Aliens” which features an episode all about how the Nazis had flying saucers at their disposal. The documentary suggests that after the war, many associated with this otherworldly technology simply vanished. Perhaps- as alluded to by the documentary’s narrator- Hitler and his closest henchmen escaped to some other planet- or even the moon.

Both Apollo 18 and Iron Sky promise to be intriguing moon-based movies. One has to almost wonder that with the release of such films, perhaps the public is slowly being eased in to the possibility of some imminent alien revelation- or quite possibly, even a UFO war.
