What the ‘alternative media’ is covering up about mass shootings

Grant J. Kidney — Today a gunman in New York City opened fire and killed one person. Naturally, the alternative media jumped to the conclusion that it must have been yet another example of the government hijacking someone’s brain and using the poor sap to go out and kill folks.

I’m not going to list all of the websites in the alternative ‘circuit’ that promulgate such ideas, but truth be told, this rehashed fib of mass shooter mind control is getting pretty old- and it serves only as a distraction from the real reason as to why people go out on shooting sprees.

Yahoo! News reported that today’s Empire State building shooting was a direct result of joblessness and hence yet again, another case of social stratification forcing someone into extreme acts of violence.

“Fifty-three year-old Jeffrey Johnson lost his job last year during a corporate downsizing at Hazan Imports, where Steven Ercolino, 41, was a vice president. He returned to his office Friday morning to target his former supervisor.”

No one in the alternative media nor in the regular media has been pointing out that maybe, just maybe, money and capitalism are to blame for the recent mass shooting events.

Remember James Holmes, the now infamous ‘Batman shooter’? Yeah, well even James Holmes was acting awry because of a potential loss of his apartment coupled with whopping student debts. Holmes was soon going to be without a ‘homes’, and for some, this would serve as the straw that ultimately breaks the camel’s back.

Its important to remember that some of the most popular alternative news websites are owned and operated by right-leaning, libertarian conservatives who wouldn’t dare utter one word against their precious gold standard and their ‘Ron Paulonomics’. God forbid that it comes out that unfair economics are the leading cause of mass shootings.

Hurry- better cook up some good mind control stories to divert folks’ attention!

NOTE: It is possible that mind control may have been used in several mass shooting incidents- but evidence for such is incredibly lacking. Also, not every mass shooting is directly related to economics (for instance, the mass shooting in Norway). Some people are just bats**t nuts and will do absolutely terrible things because of some warped ideological standpoint.
