WHOA! Gigantic Mushroom Cloud Spotted Over Beijing, China

Grant J. Kidney — Earlier this week, a huge, mushroom-like cloud similar to what is seen after a nuclear explosion, was witnessed over Beijing skies.

On Monday, Chinese authorities demanded that citizens remain in doors during the entire duration of the atmospheric phenomenon.

Two Chinese bloggers were arrested for citing the possibilities of an explosion at a steel mill or a chlorine leak at a chemical plant which may have produced the awesome sight.

The Chinese government has denied any possibility of an industrial accident stating that the mushroom cloud was a result of mere straw burning.

Though not substantiated due to evidence withheld by Chinese authorities, what had really occurred was more than likely the testing of some kind of new military weapon.
