World Bank Chief Warns of Global Economic Catastrophe

Robert Zoellick, the unattractive, mustache-faced head of the World Bank has recently done his part in helping to spread international fear by warning that if governments of the world don’t “do something”, we’re going to enter a new “danger zone” economically.

Zoellick is correct in his assumption that a global economic catastrophe is just over the horizon. However, his urging of governments to take action is really just a drop of s**t in the wind.

One would think that by this point in time- since the onset of the economic downfall in the United States back in 2008- that every option would’ve already been explored so as to prevent a second great depression.

The truth is that the only way to save the economy is to essentially get rid of the economy! Money is what really stands in the way of human progress. And while our “leaders” are out scrambling over what to do in order to prevent financial armageddon, all of the energy and focus of our species is thus diverted.

Zoellick did have one interesting thing to say concerning his warning for the world’s economy:

“We will not release the full potential of half of the world’s population until globally we address the issue of equality; until countries, communities, and households around the world acknowledge women’s rights and change the rules of inequality,”

Yeah, I almost s**t my pants when I read this one! Of course Zoellick isn’t serious. As head of the World Bank, I’m almost certain this man cares little for “equality” and issues such as women’s rights! He and others like him are just expected to say certain things regardless to how they actually feel. Perhaps for this reason alone the global economy is in dire straits- there is not one honest person in the halls of leadership.
